Where is the best New Jersey shore point for families with toddlers? |
Travel Info Where is the best New Jersey shore point for families with toddlers? Travel Tips Ocean City. If you want something farther north, then Point Pleasant (has rides for the kiddies) or Sea Girt (quiet - not much of a boardwalk). In the middle, Long Beach Island. You could also try Island Beach State Park, but you need to get there early or you will be turned away. Stay away from Seaside Heights, Atlantic City and anything north of Spring Lake Heights. Wildwood - well, the beach is nice and you can go out in the water a long ways before it gets deep, but it is a long walk to get to the water and also it's a party town, so you would be better off at Ocean City if you're going that far south. Others I would recommend going to Long Beach Island. Go to a Bay Beach there. There are tons of them there. You can also go to Ocean Beaches as well. Bay beaches are nice because not many people go, and when i go, there is only toddlers and younger children around. pt. pleasant , spring lake , and bradley beach are all close and are very safe and cheap too which is always a plus not as much people go for the boardwalk attractions which can make the area not so nice like seaside and wildwood not really toddler destinations along the shore stay away from atlantic city not a toddler destination and your idea of toddler fun is a casino town ya need some help pt pleasant has the aquarium and lots of kiddie rides on the boardwalk |
