New York Renaissance Faire?

I have been to the pennslvaina renisance fair and i loved it all 5 years ive been going...but I was wondering how the new york fair is? Is it better, worth the drive, can it all be done in a day...or is it a weekend think? And how are the accomdations, food, ect... Any information would be awsome....and thank you!

There are 2 Renaissance Festival/Faires in the NYC area. One is smaller, in NYC, called the Medival Festival in Fort Tryon Park. It happends this year on 9/30/2007. http://www.renaissancefestival.com/viewe... I have been to it for the past 2 years. I loved it.

There bigger one is about 45 minutes north of the city in Tuxedo, NY. http://www.renfair.com/ny/general/faq.ph... It's bigger and it happens for a longer period of time.

For both, I would suggest you to make at least a 2 day to a weekend trip. Since there is a lot of stuff to do and see at the festivals, plus you can go by NYC!

I have not been. but I have friends who work ther ein costume. Apparentl it is excellent!
You can do it on one day, I've been there many times before and going again this year! Have FUN!!
