Travel Info for people who have never been... and for people who live there!!! favorite sight-seeing place in new york??? place that you've always dreamed of visiting in new york city???? i've always dreamed of seeing a broadway show: visiting the russian tea room; and, seeing a mets game!!! Travel Tips Rockefeller Center Radio City Musical Hall Statue of Liberty Ellis Island Museum of Modern Art Metropolitan Museum Museum of Natural History Central Park Yankee Stadium Little Italy China Town Macy's Madison Square Garden Have Fun! Others My favorites in NYC were: Seeing the original Cats (original crew, amazing!!!!!!) The empire State building (of course) The twin towers were amazing ( :( ) The aircraft carrier was fun... Just being in New York was totally amazing, but I wouldn't want to live there. Well you can't come to NYC and see the Mets, you have to go to "The House That Ruth Built" that's for starters. But.......there's a ferry that takes you around Manhatten Island that is pretty cool. Go to ground Zero....to pay respect Hang in the Village for the history. I've been only once, i did alot but theres tons more I'd like to see.. museums, a flea market, Flatiron building,chrysler building..and just eat more o' that NY food. I'd love to see NYC at Christmas, I'm going to do it either this year or next. times square is the best for tourists, but in my opinion, just walking around in the city is good enough, just to get the flavor. After all, I've been living there for over 17 years! |
