Where are some less-crowded places to see fireworks in Queens?

My brother went to the top of one of the shopping malls in Flushing (the one with a big Target) last year and could see everything well. It's a 7-8 story (maybe even 10 stories) parking garage and the roof is open.

He lives in Rego Park so whichever Target is closest to there.
