Travel Info hi every one! happy fourth of july. my parents, sister, and i usually go to the brooklyn pier every fourth of july to watch fire works. any way, my mom just called and wanted me to find out what time the fire works in brooklyn set off. if you liveanywhere in staten island where i live and you might know, plz tell me. thank you! Travel Tips The celebration will begin at 7:00 pm with the first firework set to explode into color over the East River at approximately 9:20 pm. People say 9pm, but from years of experience, it's 9:20! If you can't make it in person, you can catch the Macy's Fourth of July fireworks live on NBC starting at 9 pm.This year, the fireworks will be launched from the traditional location on the East River between 23rd and 42nd Streets and from a location near the South Street Seaport.
