What is the cheapest method to get to buffalo from new york? |
Travel Info I am hoping there is a way to get there for around 50 bux each way. I know there are some 50 dollar plane rides, and that would be awesome, but to get cheaper tickets, you need to leave early in the morning. I was hoping to get there either friday or saturday and leave sunday night. Travel Tips i'd look on the jetblue website. they usually have cheap plane tickets, but the tickets do get more expensive the closer you get to the trip. amtrak is also usually pretty cheap, and has a bunch of discounts (AAA, student advantage etc) that can make the trip more affordable. if you're doing a round trip from buffalo to ny to buffalo, you might consider driving to rochester...that's where i fly out of/into and a lot of times the tickets are a little cheaper. it's also a direct flight on jetblue from jfk to rochester and is only about 1 hour long. if you fly into jfk it's really easy to get public transportation into nyc. even if amtrak or greyhound are cheaper than a plane is, it might not be worth it because it would basically suck up an entire day with traveling. Others by airplane walk bicycle scab a lift hitch stowaway bus all cheaper than flying sat nit r/t tic express 10:45pm wil get you to Buffalo at 6am $110 best deal so far express run one stop in P.A for chow then its off to buffalo.... there is no way to get to Buffalo with just 50$ sry.. one way from Buffalo to Ny is 65$ frequent travel ... buffalo native know working in NYC commute 2x a week by Bus ...I don't like to fly |
