Travel Info i think through pennsylvania Travel Tips If your coming from the eastern part of the state than I second the previous response. If your coming from the western part of MD, take I-81 north through PA. 20 miles or so north of Harrisburg, PA, take I-78 East towards Allentown. Cross over into NJ, continue on I-78, until you enter NYC through the Holland Tunnel. There are two tolls that way. One to enter the last part of I-78 which is the same as the Newark Bay Extension of the New Jersey Turnpike, and the Holland Tunnel entrance toll.I-95. It's the most direct way. Take a tour bus And your starting point is ? Assuming that you are Starting somewhere around Baltimore, Take US 1 North to US 202 North -which gets kind of confusing around King of Prussia PA Stay on US 202 into New Jersey To I-287 South toward Perth Amboy NJ I-287 ends Rt 440 Rt440 over Outerbridge Crossing -Pay $ 6.00 toll Stay on 440 Following signs for the Verrazano Bridge over the VZ Bridge-Keep right following the trucks Up the BQE Then find a free East River crossing that suits your needs The 59th St Bridge * would be the one farthest North *Really tricky connection from the BQE Native |
