Im moving to Newark next week. I got an apartment over the internet and havent even seen it! I got a great job |
Travel Info offer and was there for just a day and havent seen anything. What is there to do and go? I got an apartment in Union. Is that area ok? Give me something people--Please. Travel Tips Ok well Union is a pretty good place to live. The school system isn't the greatest but if you don't have kids who cares!! There is a lot of stuff to do in Jersey and you can easily catch the train to new york city from union or Newark. NYC has a million more things to do so I doubt you will be bored. The jersey shore is a fun place to go to during the summer also. The ironbound in Newark has some of the best and reasonably priced restaurants in New Jersey as well a some pretty descent night clubs. Newark offers the Newark Bears baseball team, NJPAC where you can see a concert or play. The Prudential Center will also open in October in Newark where Bon Jovi will be performing in October. (if you going to be from new jersey you need to see bon jovi in concert! :) ) I have lots more information about the area since I've lived here my whole life but I'm not really sure what you really need to know. Others Personally I think Union is better then Newark. As for things to do and see. I don't go down that way often but it's so easy and close to just hop on a train and go to NYC which has lots of stuff to do and see. Try searching the net for things to do in the Metro area. Union is a decent place to live. Newark is very dangerous. Not much to do up there. Most go to the Jersey Shore on the weekends. Born and raised in Jersey. |
