All NYC museums are cool and mostly free or on suggested admission. Time Square, MTV store, Virgin Mega store, and central park.
Others
What I would do is go somewhere you, your parent, and your friend likes to go. (I do this all the time, we pick a place we all like to go.) I turned 13 today so.. I would recommend something like.. a movie, shopping, bowling, just something you enjoy.. hope I've helped!
