How do new york compare to detroit? |
Travel Info which is the better city to live in? my gf claims detroit has just as many fun things to do as new york. i havent been on the east coast so is this true? Travel Tips lmaooo you liar i NEVER said that...i would prefer new york to detroit any day...you are suchhh a liar...forget it lol you're nothing but a liar...now im starting to think the stories you tell me about your fam are biased and lies too just to make yourself look better...maybe it's really YOU who has the food fetish lol. Others they are both cities. Many famous people come from there. But New York is poppin'. I love it and I have been living here 13 years (all my life). I'm not planning to move out ever. Motown has given this country some great music from the Supremes to Eminen. New York, however, is the financial center of the world only with Tokyo, Paris, and London. So NYC has the money, Detroit has the tunes. You have got to be kidding! I live in Detroit, and have spent a lot of time in New York. There is no way to compare them. New York is a lot more diverse....and has a whole lot more to offer you across the board. If you haven't spent time on the East Coast, and would like to....New York is the best option because it's close to DC, Philly, Virginia, etc. I am Midwest girl...(born in Ohio), but have lived in Chicago & Detroit. While the Detroit area has it's advantages (none come to mind right now except that it is near Chicago) the whole state of Michigan is in a bit of a slump due to mismanaged political driven b.s. Go to New York!!!!! Be Well, Mica Experience NYC is a great city....I can't imagine living anywhere but here....there is so much diversity and there is something for everyone here...... I am not sure what the cost of living is.....I presume its a lot higher in NYC... Detroit is also not the safest city in the USA....I keep hearing its on that blacklist....normally behind Baltimore.... NYC is the safest big city in the USA according to statistics. Visit both cities and see what feels right for you because the way of living in NYC is not for everyone....its a you make it or break it type of town.... check out this website, it has the best city comparision system, costwise, salary comparison and etc. |
