Which is the best bar on the Quayside and the best one in the Bigg Market?

Cheers Guys.

Travel Tips
Where to start...I don't really drink on the Bigg Market, but as an alternative to the Quayside I would recommend around by the Station. There you will find Revolution; North bar (I recommend this); coco v's; Tokyo (recommended); Apartment (recommended); Long Bar; then a little way up towards the Bar 55 there is Dean Street, this road leads you onto the quayside, there is a bar on there called Hoko 10. As you get into the quayside, I quite like the Crown Posada but t's quite small and narrow and quite oldy worldy, I fear not quite what you're looking for on a stag night (haha). On the quayside there are many many bars, it's really a case of take your pick, some suggestions would be Quilted Camel; Casa; Pitcher and Piano right on the riverside near the millenium bridge. Very popular is BaHaa beach club and Buffalo Joe's just over the swing broidge on the gateshead side of the quayside and the Tuxedo Princess nightclub on a boat; I can't recommend this as I've not been since I was at uni...6 years ago....awww I feel old now! haha

My fave bars are not on the quayside but on Pilgrim street near Bar 55 (big pub on roundabout, don't ask, you'll see what I mean when you arrive) they are Secco and Paradiso, lovely continental style bars with a great selection of beers and cocktails. Running Parallel to Pilgrim Street is Grey Street with a fab few bars...Bar Luga and the Lounge to name a couple.

Sorry I have no recommendations for the Bigg Market, it's not some where I drink but I hope you have a fabulous time, Newcastle is great for a night or nights out...during the day if you're not too hung over you might want to try the Baltic modern art gallery, if that's not your thing, then there are lots of really nice little places to eat such as el torero a fab and quite good value tapas cafe on the side just off Dean St (just ask a passer-by if not sure where.)

Bet you're sorry you asked now huh....I don't work for the Tourist Info, honestly...ha-ha Have an ab fab time!
Others
cant remember they are all pretty good. i had a job to find my way back to gateshead perhaps the reason for that is that i come from somerset
