Travel Info How are the motels / inn at Niagara Falls, Canada side? Travel Tips Because Niagara is a tourist destination, and highly competitive, rooms in hotels and motels are clean and well appointed. You can get a cheaper rate at a hotel that does not have a direct view of the falls. Often it is only a 10 minute walk to the base of the falls from many motels and hotels without direct views of both falls. Below I have listed three sites for you to check. The second is Niagara Falls NY, the other two are Canadian. Explore the sites and you will find something to your liking. Be sure to access yahoo maps so you now where you are in relation to the main sites. Remember, Clifton Hill is the main strip on the Canadian side. Good Luck and have fun! Other Travel Tips Days inn ( victoria st. ), Days inn ( casino ), Days inn ( centre street ), Quality hotel ( victoria st. ), Cascade inn ( fallsview casino district ) and the Howard johnson ( victoria street ) would be my suggestions. However, it might be better to stay on the U.S. side at the days inn or wherever and just walk across the rainbow bridge to the candian side for the day(s), since the exchange rate has dropped so much hotels tend to be a better deal on the american side and it's not difficult to cross into canada ( by car or on foot ) for the day and then cross back that night.
