Do you need passport - traveling to Niagara Falls.? |
Travel Info Do you need a passport to come back from Niagara Falls into the US. I've heard yes and no. I'm planning a 4 day vacation into Niagara Falls, would hate to be held back when driving into the US due to not having passport. I'm a US Citizen. Travel Tips Passports will be required as of 01/01/2008. For now photo ID is all you need. Others I'm doing the same thing in July and I just looked online and the website said all you need is your birth certificate and a photo ID. If your flying you need a passport. Have fun on your trip!! Passports aren't required when returning to the U.S. by land or sea....YET. http://travel.state.gov/travel/cbpmc/cbp... At this point in time you do not need a passort, just picture ID is fine. |
