Travelling from the Buffalo airport (U.S. side) to the niagara falls hotels (U.S. side)? |
Travel Info Hi..I am planning to travel to Niagara fall. I made a reservation to the Buffalo airport and a hotel on the U.S. side ( I am not planning to go to the canadian side). I was wondering if anyone could suggest any mode of transportation from airport to hotel besides car rental or cab. The hotel failed to provide me any useful suggestions..and all the airport to hotel shuttles I could find are on the canadian side. Can some one provide the links (weblinks) or phone numbers of services regarding above? Appreciate your help! Travel Tips Here's a source for you: http://www.niagaraairbus.com/ Others I think you will have to use a taxi...only solution I found there. Or change hotels and find one with a shuttle service. Also, you MUST go to the Canadian side...it is the best, and there are many things to do there. You do NOT need a passport to walk or take a bus or cab across the bridge...just a certified copy of your birth certificate and a go't issued I.D. like a driver's license. Really...do not miss the Canadian side! There are shuttle and bus services that make the rounds of the hotels and pick up people to go to the Canadian side. Find a hotel where one of these services comes every day so you can use it. Also, consider staying on the Canadian side...I found that to be much better. It will add greatly to your trip. just curious, why do you not want to have a rental car? it takes about 20 minutes to drive from Buffalo to NF. Take I-190 North. You're there. Lots of signs, lots of hotels. TONS of tourist stuff. PS: I TOTALLY agree with Charlie. The Canadian side of the falls is INCREDIBLE! You will never forget it! i'm from there. been to NF probably 100 times. |
