Is everything in Niagara Falls within walking distance? |
Travel Info Me and my wife are going to Niagara Falls for our honeymoon and will be arriving via train. Will we have to rely on taxis or is everything pretty much within walking distance? Travel Tips You can walk to every thing in the area without problems. You can get some great views of the falls from the Canada side. Have a great time. Others Think you will be OK walking It's a while since I was there so can't remember it that well - we walked everywhere on both sides but took a bus over the bridge (I think you will need a passport or papers). According to the following site it is walking distance so you should be OK. http://neustravel.suite101.com/article.c... I pretty much walked everywhere. I took a car from Toronto and stayed on the Canadian side only (not so much to do and see on the US side). Once I got to Niagara Falls, I just walked around everywhere. Yes, everything is pretty much within walking distance. There are the People Mover shuttles too, though, in case your feet get really tired. The stops are located all along the length of the escarpment within the city. |
