Hey were having our annual faimly trip and goin niagara falls what places do ou recommend goin too? |
Travel Info **we go to this place almost every year. We already went to all the main ones like maid of the midst, the ones close to th falls. Travel Tips Head over to Niagara-on-the-Lake about 20 miles down the river, not sure of the ages going, but it's wine country there, lots of wine tastings and tours. Not to mention the town is beautiful, kept in the 1800's era...cobblestone sidewalks not neon lights...won't find a Mc D's there, nice park for kids to play in if you are going with kids right by the beach (lake ontario). The Shaw Festival is there, so you could catch a play, some golf. Great Wolf Lodge is expensive and quite far from everything...you'll have to bring your car and then you'll have to pay for parking when you get down to the falls area. Around 10 bucks. There is another indoor water park that is right on Falls Ave, on street away from the Falls. Add more details to your age group going and I can drop you some more info if you like. I do like the idea of great wolf lodge, but is so expensive. Modified 10 months ago Alot to see in Niagara! Lot going on! A good place to stay would be THE GREAT WOLF LODGE close to the strip about a 5 monute drive or so. and it's great for the kids even if it rains!
