Travel Info Well be visiting niagra falls soon the canadian side ..where should i stay and do? Travel Tips If you can afford it, stay at a hotel where you have a falls view. It's GORGEOUS! Here are some general places to check out: a) Hershey's Factory http://www.cliftonhill.com/niagara_falls... b) Nightmares Fear Factory - best haunted house ever. The rest of them suck in Niagara Falls. http://www.nightmares-niagara.com... c) Visit this awesome fudge/candy place right by the Rainbow bridge. http://www.infoniagara.com/attractions/r... d) Maid of the Mist http://www.maidofthemist.com/en... e) Helicopter Ride over the falls http://www.niagarahelicopters.com/... f) Journey behind the falls http://www.niagaraparks.com/nfgg/behindt... g) If you have kids - Marineland http://www.marinelandcanada.com/... h) Butterfly Conservatory http://www.niagaraparks.com/nature/butte... If you want to walk, be sure to sure to drop off your vehicle and ride one of the tourist buses (you pay for the whole day and can hop on and off buses where you'd like to go). A lot of great things are on or near Clifton Hill. Make sure to try out the Rainforest Cafe. It's a GREAT experience for lunch or supper. Others Hello, Niagara Falls is a wonderfull place to visit. I believe, without doubt, that the Canadian side of the falls is the best by far (I have been in both sides). I would recommend you to stay at the Best Western Cairn Croft Hotel (Toll Free: 1-800-263-2551) and visit: - Hard Rock Cafe - Planet Hollywood - Niagara CASINO ( a must!!) - Walk around and enjoy many of the attractions around the Casino area - Do not forget to visit a nearby town called Nigara on the Lake. It is just awesome town, beautiful. You can have a nice dinner there. - I also recommend taking the boat that will take you to the center of the falls (MAID OF THE MIST). I took it and it is worth the ride! I took amazing pictures (even though I was all wet) Please, dress comfortable because in the summer is very hot and you will get wet from water from the falls, so, wear cotton that will dry fast and still will look good. Lots of fun things to do. good question i was there a month ago...try the ripleys musuem its awesome, and ride the maid of the mist, its a ferry ride almost into the falls themselves...its beautiful...hotels....try the sheridian.... ME too!!!!! in aug, my friend is getting married up there, we are going on the jet boat tours, marine land, and a safari drive, plus shopping and seeing the falls and we're also goin on the maid of the mist! I can't wait! only 2 weeks left! Niagara Falls is beautiful. You will love it. Carriage ride around the falls at the time the fireworks go off -- very romantic. Take walking tours of both the American and Canadian Falls. Ride the Maid of the Mist. Visit the Cave of the Winds. See the Aerospace museum. And don't forget the Casinos! Was there on Monday....do the Maid of the Mist....by far one of the coolest things (really it was!!). Stay at any of the hotels that are there along the river. And I'd do the Gondola ride over the Whirlpool Rapids. Don't go the US side (I live in the US, and I don't recommend it!!) |
