Where to stay in Niagara Falls, Canada?

I am looking for a place under 150 dollars that serves breakfast and is not too far from the falls.

stay at the victoria motor inn. i just came back from spending 4 nights there. it is a great motel. very reasonable prices. clean rooms. friendly staff. great breakfast! it is also in walking distance to everything. there is also free parking. it was a very nice stay.

We stayed at the Comfort Suites Fallsview. The breakfast was ok and it's only a short walk and tram down to the falls. You can see the mist and the river from the upper rooms. Now bear in mind that these rooms don't have a "Fallsview" but rather a partial view of the river. It's going to be much more a Fallsview room.

You need to give a bit more detail, after labour day you can find a hotel for that anywhere here. If you are coming before, might be hard depends on the day you are arriving too. Saturday is the most expensive day of the week, rates sometimes triple on a saturday. You could pay cheap on a friday or sunday but saturday will break you.

We stayed in the Super 8 in Grimsby, Ontario. It was very inexpensive and was terrific! Indoor swimming pool, good breakfast and not too far from the falls. When we stayed there 3 years ago, it was brand new (they were still putting in landscaping).
I agree that Super 8 is the best way to go. The hotels by the falls (like the Fallsview one mentioned) will cost you at least $150 and you have to pay for parking there ($25/day) and in some cases, to take the tram up and down the hill to get to the falls ($2 per person per ride).
I'm staying at the Super 8 next week and I've been there before. It's clean, got a pool, and a good breakfast. It's not a 4 star hotel, but it's more than what you need. Oh, and no parking fee =)
