Travel Tips Yes, unemployment is higher in the Atlantic region due to various factors, but it is NOT impossible to get a job or even a great one at that. Try looking at Halifax, Nova Scotia. Beautiful scenery, beside the ocean, great history and culture, low crime rate... A small to medium sized city but with lots of multiculturalism and industry. It's a great place to live and raise a family. Oh, and the cost of living is a LOT less compared to places like Toronto. Here are a few sites that might help you.
