Travel Info thank you for your time. Travel Tips It's more fun to go in the spring/ summer. In the winter time it's really pretty esp during the festival of lights but really icy and slippery from the mist coming off the falls There are a few museums like Ripley's believe it or not, lots of video game rooms. At night it's all lit up like a mini Vegas. Butterfly conservatory, the bird house, maid of the mist, the gondola ride over the whirlpool. Helicopter ride over the falls, the gardens at the Horticultural school, rain forest cafe, hiking in Niagara gorge, whirlpool jet boats and of course, the falls themselves! Others take the maid of the mist boat ride, go to the botton of the falls in thru the cave and wear a raincoat It's worth to visit. You won't believe what it looks like. If this is your first time at Niagara Falls... YOU WILL ENJOY EVERYTHING!!!!! Welcome!!! They have a few haunted houses - that I find to be pretty darned scary! They have a Ripley's Believe It or Not museum, which is really cool, as well as a celebrity wax museum. They also have a sci-fi alien/UFO museum and a museum about mobsters. There's a lot of stuff to do like that on the main strip. Make sure that you check before you go that the Maid of the mist is still running - they close it down once it gets cold. Plus you get pretty wet while on it so you would want to have nice weather. |
