History of the Park Plaza Hotel in Niagara Falls, Canada? |
Travel Info Does anyone know the history of the Park Plaza Hotel in Niagara Falls, Canada? We used to stay near it, and for years it was closed and boarded up. One year it was opened as a Park Plaza. Does anyone know what it was? Did it burn? (Kind of looked like it). If not, why was it closed? Travel Tips That building was boarded up for a long time, years ago but at that time it was not Park Plaza. If I can remember right 3 - 4 years after it was boarded up some one bought the building finished the construction and opened the Park Plaza. Rumour has it that the reason why it was boarded up and they stopped construction is because the first owner of the building was indited for narcotics possession or something in that nature. This was a long time ago I'm not a 100% sure but I'm 80% sure that was the reason. It is in full swing now and under new management.. Others Do you mean the Brock Plaza Hotel or the Park Plaza Hotel?
