Any of these airports should have rental cars available. you can drive by the Thruway or by Route 17/I-86/I-390 (my preferred route). you can also take Amtrak (train) or Greyhound/Trailways (bus). Others if your driving go the New York State Thruway all the way New York State Thruway west to Buffalo. I190 north to the Peace Bridge and follow the QEW to exit 30. It only takes hours, and remember to have your driver's license (if you have one), birth certificate, and passport when going to a different country. I drove from Baltimore, MD to Hamilton (a suburban town just north of Toronto) and back. Follow the directions above. Make sure that if you drive you bring your birth certificate along with your drivers license. If you are travelling from New York city there is also the option of taking the Amtrak train to Niagara. I understand that it is very scneic however it does take about 11 hours! Although I believe it is well worth while. |
