Its really helpful. Should be just about everything in the state. I live on the west coast in Manatee county. We have the Gamble Plantation where the Secretary of State for the Confederacy hid before leaving for Europe. Anna Maria Island and Longboat Key offer beautiful beaches and lots of little shops and great restaurants to explore. Bradenton has a museum of natural history, planetarium and an aquarium housing Snooty, the oldest living manatee, born and raised, in captivity. Sarasota offers the Ringling Museum, performing arts at the Van Wezel, an interesting art district, the Selby Botanical Gardens and the Sarasota Jungle Gardens. St. Armands Circle is an amazing place to walk around, shop and dine. Alligator parks, Epcot center, Disney World, MGM studios, Busch Gardens, Sea World. Numerous museums and galleries. I think it has a lot to offer!!! Sarasota has a great museum, and nothing beats the history of St. Augustine. There are great zoos in Jacksonville and Miami, and don't forget the beaches. What about the Everglades or the Keys??? |
