I need someones opinion is splash mountain at Disneyworld scary or not at all?

Travel Tips
I am on my 20's and is not scary at all. I sat on the last seat and I barely got wet.

If you were unaware that it's a log flume it can be scary and yes there are many who aren't aware till they get on it! It is appropriate for children and really isn't scary though. You WILL get wet :)
I went on it when i was 6, and i didn't think then it was that scary. Most rides at disneyworld aren't scary...they are more like pieces of art!
It's about a rabbit getting kidnapped and some of the creatures are scary looking and there is a huge drop into the water at the end. It's a fun ride, not too scary.
The only scary part is the drop near the end. As you crest the last hill, you look down a very steep drop and start down. And THAT is when they take your picture. We have a classic picture of our 4YO (she's 6YO now) sitting in the front of the log, with BIG eyes like fried eggs. Sure, she was scared for a moment, but she was laughing when she got to the bottom and got all wet. It's her favorite ride, and that's one of our favorite photos. We still talk about it.

The ride is based on the movie "Song of the South" (1947), which has the characters Br'er Bear, Br'er Fox, and Br'er Rabbit. It has the award-winning song Zip-ah-dee-doo-dah. It's a great movie technically, which mixes live action and animation. However, it is not distributed in the US because it depicts African Americans during the Civil War period, and they are depicted in their roles at the time, as house servants and field workers. Since this is such a sensitive issue, Disney has not released the movie in the US. However, you can get a bootleg DVD on ebay. The quality isn't the greatest (and the seller admits this), but at least you can see the classic film, with some excellent Disney songs in their original context.

Have a blast!
I don't think this ride is scary at all. I have taken both of my kids on the ride and they are planning on hitting it again this trip (they are 11 and 6.) On a big family vacation about 6 years ago I took my aunt on the ride who has Down's Syndrome and is afraid of just about everything. She loved it so much that she immediately wanted to ride it again, so we did!
