Travel Info Police: Attempted Murder Suspect May Be Hiding In Orlando POSTED: 11:51 am EDT May 16, 2007 ORLANDO, Fla. -- Police believe a man wanted for attempted murder in Titusville could be hiding out in Orlando. Police issued an arrest warrant for Pierre Butler. Investigators believe he shot Cameron Crandall in front of an apartment complex on Dixie Avenue last Friday. The victim survived. Police said the motive was revenge. Investigators said Butler believed the victim beat up his pregnant girlfriend. She's also the suspect's cousin. Did that just say she is pregnant with her cousin's baby who also is her boyfriend?? Travel Tips No. The victim and the suspect are two different men. You're getting confused because the victim was a girlfriend beater, and you're thinking of him as the suspect. Just replace names with the descriptions, and it may make more sense. For example, the victim (the person who was shot) is Cameron. We'll call Cameron's unnamed pregnant girlfriend, who was beaten up, "Jennifer." Finally, Pierre is the suspect (the person who shot Cameron), and he is "Jennifer's" cousin, not her boyfriend. Sounds like the girl got beat up by her boyfriend, and then the girl's cousin got mad and tried to kill the boyfriend. The wording is a little confusing, but I think that's what happened. Anyway, I live in the South and don't appreciate your insinuation that we are all a bunch of incestuous trailer trash.It's a bit ambiguous because they mentioned two females and the just said 'She'. It could mean the victim was the suspect's cousin and the suspect had a pregnant girlfriend that the cousin beat up. it does look like she is the cousin of the guy who did the beating as well as pregnant to him. Maybe they meant to say she was the victims cousin otherwise, they really like to keep things in the family AAHHH No.. The girl he shot is his cousin. She beat up his pregnant girlfriend! They were just unclear Yup! Thats the DEEP south for ya... |
