Which of the three on-site Universal Orlando hotels is the best? |
Travel Info I am planning a trip to Universal Orlando this summer and would like to know which hotel of the three on-site is the best. Also, some sites that compare would be appreciated. Thanks Travel Tips I recommend the hard rock hotel. portofino bay is nice but nothing beats hard rock. it's right there. It's the closest and it's so cool Others I live in orlando and the portofino is gorgeous. you feel in europe. But they're all really nice The disney hotels are also unbelievable specially the grand floridian. I was just looking at the hotels myself because they're offering some good Florida residence rates and I have to agree that the Portofino looks the nicest. Yes Hard Rock may be world known, but I like to have a nice place to stay when I'm traveling. One of the hotels actually has a 2,700 square foot suite!! I can only imagine what that costs per night. My family usually stays at Embassy Suites because it's a two room suite. We have two kids and we like to have some privacy instead of having everyone share one room. There's also a new Marriott next to the Ritz that would be an excellent choice. I'm hoping to stay there when my son goes to school in Orlando. I would reccomend the Hard Rock, just because its close and has things to do after the parks close, also the rooms are very nice and clean and they tend to have great views of the city, also if you are into music they get groups in from all over the US to play there... i remember last year we had some guests down from New Jersey and we stayed with them at the hard rock, and one of the nights that we were staying there, there was some music group that was popular up in new jersey and they got to go hear them play, so they really enjoyed their stay!!! |
