Travel Info
My trip to Orland walt disney world next week including 4 theme parks plus universal, I will attend one park a day, but which theme park shall I go first? what is the best plan? Thanks in advance for the help.

Travel Tips
Here are a couple more tips. Animal Kingdom, if you want to see the animals, is best to go to as early as possible and hit the safari first. it's also the smallest park, so if there is a day you need to do something else I'd combine it. Or consider a park hopper so you can spend an extra half a day at Epcot, as it is virtually impossible to do Epcot in a day. MGM can usually be done in less than a day unless you are a ride junky. BTW I HIGHLY recommend eating at the Brown Derby. I think it's some of the best food in Disney! I would check to see if the hours are the same all the days, so if they are longer at any point be sure to do Epcot that day. And I love to begin the trip at the Magic Kingdom just because that IS classic Disney to me.

Also, we were very disappointed in Universal. They charged a lot of money with far less to see than at Disney. Didn't do Islands of Adventure since I'm not a big scary ride fan. But was hard to stay busy for a full day at Universal FWIW. You don't say how long you are going for or where you will be staying (I hope on Disney property if at all possible, that is SOOO much more enjoyable a trip to me).

I always recommend poking around these sites before a trip to Disney....esp the first 2 forums. (And unlike other links they are FREE info!) They are amazing resources and always have current info and deals so you know the latest;

Animal Kingdom monday, MGM tuesday, Epcot or Magic kingdom Wednesday, then you are on your own. You didn't specify days. Magic kingdom is busiest on mondays. If you are staying on Disney property make good use of extended hours. Haven't been to Universal in years. I'm a Disney fan, but it seems that it's (universal) is never very crowded. Just a suggestion: on arrival to EPCOT go to the LAND and get fast pass for SOARING. They go very fast. The lines are over an hour otherwise. Don't miss Everest in Animal Kingdom!!!
Been there over 20 times, last time in March 2007 and going again in December 2007.
The best way to do that is park hoppers for 3 days. (This is how my family does it even though we stay a little over a week) Animal Kingdom *since it closes at 5*/ Magic Kingdom Monday. MGM Tuesday. Wednesday break can got to downtown Disney or city walk. Thursday Epcot. Friday Universal. Animal Kingdom is great to do first because u can get it out of the way and still have time to get to all the good rides at magic kingdom and see a couple of the parades/castle shows. Another way u can do it is. Monday Magic Kingdom (*Tip* For great burgers and fries go to Pecos Bill Cafe in Frontierland (McDonald's Fri Cart is right outside but there fries are great anyway) Great hot dogs Casey's Comer its right when you get into Magic Kingdom as your heading down Main Street U.S.A toward Cinderella's Castle it will be on your left and if you like claim chowder go to the Columbia Harbor House), Tuesday MGM(*Tip* If u like slushy there's carts in MGM that sell Minuet Maid Lemonade Slush's there really good), Wednesday Universal(*Tip* A good place to eat is the 50's dinner),Thursday Animal Kingdom and Friday Epcot (*Tip* To cool off at Epcot go to the Coco-Cola Building for free refreshments.)
My memory and disney maps.
Check Disney's website to find out when their extra hours for resort guests are. The park with extra hours is the busiest that day. If you are staying on-property, you should take advantage of extra hours. If you are off-property, you will definitely want to avoid the park with extra hours. A great research site is http://www.allearsnet.com A little planning ahead is invaluable. I usually try to mix the parks up - do a park that is huge and I will be running all day to do everything, then do a park that is smaller/has fewer things I want to do. Be aware, too, that at Disney their dining plan has been very popular, so if you want to eat at a sit-down restaurant, you need to call ahead for priority seating times. Not a bad idea for Universal either if there is someplace you have your heart set on.
