Travel Info I'll be in Florida in July and would like to visit Universal Studios. Is there any place to buy tickets alot cheaper than the front gate or official web site? Travel Tips The "early bird" special on their web site is currently $85. That is for seven days consecutive access to Universal, Islands, and Citywalk (clubs). This same ticket is $112 at the on-site hotel ticket desk, more at the park gate. The daily rate is $72 (7x$72 is $504) and it doesn't include Citywalk. This $85 "early bird" is the best special out there. If you find anything less than that it will be in conjunction with timeshare (avoid at all costs). Others Actually you can get one day tickets for free.. or almost free. My dh and I did this years ago... up there on the main strip, can't recall the name of it, but people, sales people from Time Shares offer you one day tickets for free so long as you attend their time share presentation early in the am .. If i recall correctly we went like 7-9 am, and was given breakfest too while we listened to a sales pitch. When it was done we were asked if we wanted to buy into the time share, and then given our one day passes to Disney. We saw Disney several times that way, plus we got a free night hotel stay, and other such gifts for free. |
