Best hotels to stay in on International Drive, Orlando? |
Travel Info Best hotels to stay in on International Drive, Orlando? Travel Tips It all depends on your budget. The " best hotel" would have to be something like The Peabody but you will pay for your luxury. I would say the best all round hotel is the Wyndham on the corner of I-drive and Sand Lake road. It is a low rise complex ( about 12 two storey buildings ) spread out over about 40 acres with lots of pools and palm trees. The rooms are very clean and modern and with excellent facilities. The location means you can walk to many nearby restaurants, bars and attractions but escape back to your hidden oasis when you have done. Others I liked the Holiday Inn, simple, clean, and very comfortable, nice pool and it is right in the heart of the action and I beleive opposite to Wet 'n Wild. Have a great time wherever you stay! Orlando fanatic! My family likes the Embassy Suites. There's two on International Drive and we stay at the one near the convention center. It's a two room suite so you get some privacy from the kids and a cook to order breakfast is included. They have a daily reception at 5:00 which includes snacks and drinks. This includes alcoholic beverages and it's on the house. There's two pools and a game room for the kids. I highly recommend it. We recently stayed at the Radisson on 192 and thought it was very good. It's somewhat older, but the room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable with adjustable air. They have several pools and a large lobby for hanging out, restaurants and plenty of parking. Check out Hilton. They are the best. Don't stay at the Sheraton World Resort only hotel in Florida I have ever had a problem with. The Rodeway Inn on International Drive was better. |
