May be a stupid question but is Universal the same as Magic Kingdom? |
Travel Info I am going in July and I am trying to plan my days activities!!! Travel Tips No they are completely different amusement parks. The Magic Kingdom is in Walt Disney World where the symbol is Cinderella's castle. It consists of 5 lands: Fantasyland, Adventureland, Tomorrowland, Mickey's Toontown Fair, and Frontierland. There are many, many great and classical rides there. You can see Prince and Princesses, Mickey and Friends, also Pooh and Friends and so much more. Universal Studios, on the other hand, have 2 areas to it. You have the Universal Studios side that is just the movies where you can ride them and then you have Islands of Adventure. This consists of different islands such as Suesslandings, Marvel Super Hero Island, Toon Lagoon, Jurassic Park, and the Lost Continent. These 2 parks are more for the older crowd with many thrilling rollercoaster rides. The characters that come out here are the Nickolodeon characters, Dr. Suess characters, and Hannah Barbara characters. Others no actually its not no No. Completely different parks altogether. The only thing in common is that both are very expensive to get into. Bring sunscreen and plenty of $$$. Beware of hurricanes. Magic Kingdom is Disney Universal is Universal. No 2 seperate theme parks No. Universal is down the street from Disney and Disney is down the streetr from Sea World. Busch gardens is in Tampa No, they are two separate facilities. I believe "the Magic Kingdom" is a reference to the Disneyland / Disneyworld amusement parks. |
