How do i go about getting the cheapest holiday for a family to florida in 2008? |
Travel Info i come from belfast and am on a tight budget . i want to get a holiday as cheap as i can at 1 of the walt disney centres, there are 2 adults and 2 kids at 14 and 12 Travel Tips I have not done this yet myself but a friend advised me to take the time to search the Internet. Look at a travel site and find a package deal if the hotel name comes up then put that into search engine and contact them direct to see if they can do a deal on the hotel rooms for when you want to go. Cut out the Agency fee I am told that you can buy Disney passes out in America like you could a lottery ticket which would save the cost of a booking agent again. Which would be cheaper. In addition if you type in New airlines into a search engine it should come up with new companies who are offering cheaper flights to help them establish their new business. Also going to America when is out of season over there would also mean cheaper accommodation as it works over here. We are classed as out of season October to March because of the weather. My partner and I are going to Disney in September 07. We booked the holiday in September 06. There was an amazing deal in the travel agents window which included unlimited Disney admissions and the 'disney dining plan' which includes most meals for our 3 week stay. It is definately cost effective to book as early as possible for the best deals. Yes, look at the internet, but don't forget your local travel agents. They can be really competitive. I've also noticed that Virgin holidays are offering free child places to Florida 2008 on their website. Have a look at www.virginholidays.co.uk. Virgin are excellent when travelling to Florida, allthough you are restricted to certain airports, (Gatwick, Manchester, Glasgow). Hope that helps!. Hello, I am a Cast Member and Florida resident. I would say your best bet would be to rent a home for a week or two. It will cost way less than a Disney hotel and you'll have the luxury of your own pool and other amenities. As far as Disney tickets go......because the kids are ages 10 and up....they are considered adults. So you have four adults. Right now the more you stay....the less you pay as they say. If you buy a 7 or 10 Disney ticket, you will pay way less than if you were just staying 2 or 3 days. The other bonus about renting a home (by the way there are tons and tons of brand new homes and subdivisions that cater to people vactioning to Disney). Most of the homes I know of are very close to a 24 hour Walmart. You can go grocery shopping and cook your own food....this will say you HUNDREDS!!!! A good website to find vacation homes is www.craigslist.com At least look into it.....I think you'll be pleasantly surprised! |
