I have a weird question about the ride Expedition Everest in Disney World? |
Travel Info ok, well I don't like HUGE hills, and I know there is a hill in EE (the one outside that curves back up into the mountain) well, I have rode splash mountain, and my sister told me to just put my head down and I wouldn't feel the drop, and she was sooo right.But in EE, is there space to put my head down? Like is it a lapbar, or what kind of buckle is it that keeps you in? Thanks! Travel Tips the car is suppose to be a train. and you have little lap bars that look like the letter "t" that go between your legs, and around your hips, and they are individaul. i think you could put your head down, because you aren't squished or anythin,g because there is a net on the back of the seat in front of you, so there has to be room. but in EE there isn't any major hills, and it isn't bumpy at all. the hill that comes out of the mountain isn't even the biggest hill-- there is one in the dark that is longer, but the ride itself isn't that extreme, and you will love it, and not be scared of it, because like you i am a chicken when it comes to hills on roller coasters too!!hope this helped. you can also go to www.youtube.com and type in the search engine space expedition everest, to watch a video of the complete ride that people in the front seat recorded! this will give you a bit of a heads up, and none of them are editied!! Others it is a lap bar, and the drops on the ride are more curved than steep. I enjoyed it more for the "themeing" of the queue line and the buildup of anticipation than for the thrill of the ride itself. There is a dark part and a backwards part to add to the excitement. hi im from england, i went to florida in oct 2004 and it sed Expedition everest would b ready before i returned in oct 2006 but it wasnt :'( so upset hope to return there soon tho :) i love FLORIDA just thought id share tht with u!!! I am a roller coaster wimp like you! I have been on EE. I REFUSE to go on Splash Mountain! EE is fast and exciting. I don't remember the drop out of the mountain to be that bad....I think it looks worse than it is because you pretty much come out and immediately turn up. Going backwards in a downward spiral in the dark might get ya though! There is no comparision to Expidition Everest and Splash Moutian, none at all. If you have reservations for Splash Moutian you will never make the EE. I don't like any kind of rollar coasters but I love Splash Mountain and Expeditiion Everest. If you have reservations about Splash Mountain then I would not even bother with EE. It does have a hill and it does go backwards but only for about 10 secs. Wait till you get there and you see the mountain itself. You can't see in it but you will get an idea what its like inside. Good look and have fun. there aren't any steep drops. there is a drop but its not that big |
