Travel Tips The person that said Destin is absolutely correct, it is beautiful, but traffic is CRAZY between the end of May (Memorial Day) and September (Labor Day) There is plenty to do and see but HWY 98 gets really congested and it is only 2 lanes going in each direction. Once you get to where you are going in Destin you have a fabulous time but fighting the traffic does suck though. Others Destin is really lovely and not too touristy. By everything you hold dear, DO NOT GO TO FORT LAUDERDALE OR MIAMI. Horrible locations. disney world is the best thing ever in florida, and all of their hotels are the best themed, and nicest i have ever been to or seen in my life... Beach, definitely Daytona. Resort, definitely any disney. come to pensacola it is beautiful here and you will have so much fun My family recently stayed at Windsor Palms resort in Kissimmee Florida for a 7 night vacation. We rented out a 3BR condo. The resort is beautiful and we all had a great time at the swimming pool and clubhouse area. The condo was huge and it had a full kitchen, living room, dining room, 2 full baths, even a washer and dryer in the unit. The resort has an olympic sized swimming pool, hot tub, clubhouse, game roo, gym, movie theater, tennis, basketball, and much more.
