Travel Info my mom is moving down to the villages in a few months, and at her house i have a basketball hoop for my son to use when we go to visit, so i was wondering if they allow personal basketball hoops there, in the villages Travel Tips While another answer correctly indicated that personal basketball hoops may not be installed within The Villages. It may have given the impression that visiting children are not welcome. That would be the wrong impression. While The Villages does not provide children activities for parents to simply drop the kids off at while they are visiting. It does provide for many children's activities directed toward doing things WITH their (great (great)) grandparents. After all, the purpose of the visit to allow these groups to get to know each other better and to have some shared experiences. Others No, they dont like kids playing there at all. it's an old folks neighborhood, and a basketball hoop takes away from the old folks appeal. You use the villages hoop, or no hoop at all. |
