Has anyone had a horrible vacation in Orlando Florida? |
Travel Info www.orlandofloridasucks.com Travel Tips 2 years ago while staying at the Wyndam in Orlando a major Hurricane came ashore on our last day,My wife and 2 kids[under7]were their as well.They came to the room to throw us out so local towns people could evacuate their houses and come stay their.I asked to pay for additional days so we weren't wandering around orlando in the middle of a hurricane,they said no 3 times and then i said,Go F***K yourself,were not leaving this room,come drag us out if you want,.The hurricane was so bad i couldn't imagine being in the rental car driving around with 2 children and my wife,the building was swaying back and forth with trees flying by,don't trust hotels with your safety,they don't give a rats *** about you. Anyone who loves Orlando is either a criminal or a mental defect. I got caught up in Hurricane Andrew in 1992 and our holiday rep told us it was all blown out of proportion (no pun inteneded) and that it was safe to leave Orlando and head towards the Everglades. I won't give the long version of the story, but it wasnt the BEST advice. Never, I love Florida. Sorry if you have had a bad experience but personally I cannot wait to go back there. No we went last year and everyone was friendly and helpful and the weather was fantastic the only downside was when we to Miami for the day it poured down with rain which spoiled our day out we wanted to go to South Beach and paddle in the water but the rain put us and spoiled our boat trip. It only rained two days on 14 day holiday we really enjoyed our time in orlando planning on returning next year. I am from the UK. EDIT I had a look at your website and I think you have a really bad attitude as the saying goes "if you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen" in other words if you hate living in Orlando or Florida all together then move somewhere else. All places have their good points and bad points. Take New York for instance before it was cleaned up NYC had a bad reputation now that its cleaned up ie got rid of the porn cimemas and other related places NYC is a much nicer place to visit. |
