Travel Info Is florida a good place to go for vacations? Travel Tips Depends on where you go. Miami South Beach is fantastic for the clubbing and nightlife but keep in mind ALL hotels in Miami SB have NO parking lots. To park your vechicle, you need valet parking everywhere or hope that you parked close enough to a parking deck and pay their high fees to park there. Fort Lauderdale is great and only 30 minutes from Miami. Lots to do and less crowded that the previous two. I didnt like Tampa at all. I felt like everyone I saw was a retiree.....no one alround my page and not much to do around the beach areas. There is a Busch Gardens in Tampa though.....Hope this helps some. Source(s): I have been to Florida several times! Other Travel Tips Florida is a fantastic place to go for a vacation. We live in Texas, but I've been to Disney World five times and we love Florida. Yes, I go all the time! I live in NY so its quick, cheap and a short trip! The weather is great in the winter, fall and spring! If you want to go somewhere that's HOT and HUMID! If you go do Disney or Universal, expect to stand in long lines in the heat. It is great if you have kids, though. I live in Florida so I prefer to vacation elsewhere. !!!!Yes, but is very hot and humid right now , is good to go to the beach or pool, because the parks you going to die!!!! yes |
