I am thinking about going to orlando for halloween? |
Travel Info i went in june last year and had a amazing time and want to go again in june but my parents think it is a good time to go for halloween but is it only good on halloween night or is everything in disney and universal and seaworld still open because it is off season. Travel Tips there are no days the parks are closed. Universal/Islands of Adventure have Halloween Horror Nights. Lots of fun but the place is packed. the weather is better that time of year. it can be warm or cool though so keep an eye on the weather before you come. and yes its off-season so not as many tourists around. Others Disney and Sea world is still open, yes. I was over for Halloween last year and its amazing. Everyone decorates their gardens with lanterns and lights. Its really HOLIDAY TIME there. The weather is still great at that time of year. Maybe a little cooler at nights but still 80s during the day time. Little less daylight hours though. All the theme parks do something for halloween..if you choose to go to Universal's Islands of Adventures which is for older kids/adults more so than young ones..they have 2 open periods for the park..1st being regular park hours: from opening time until 5pm the park is normal. Then at 6pm they reopen for Halloween Horror Nights..where the park is Halloween themed with haunted houses, monsters and stuff walking around.. heard alot good comments from both locals and tourists.. They do not recommend taking young kids to Halloween Horror Nights. Seaworld/Disney would be more suitable for younger childern with costume contests & activities for them. Most of the time for Disney they will sell out for there special on Halloween night for the young ones..best is to get tickets ASAP. I went last Halloween and we did Universal haunted horrors at Universal Studios. It was a blast, I highly recommend it!!!I'll give you a tip if you go. BUY THE EXPRESS PASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We did and had ten minute waits in line at the most. I spoke to so many people who waited over two hours to get into one haunted house. They didn't even get through half of the park. The haunted houses were very cool and scary. Lots of other fun things going on in the park as well as riding some of the major rides they have. Good Luck |
