Are there some states that when mentioned, just make you think "LOW CLASS"? |
Travel Info For me, when somebody mentions Texas-Florida, I immediately think low class states. Can somebody tell me why I am wrong? Travel Tips EVERY state, for that matter, practically every town or city, has it's "good" sections and "bad" sections- or as they used to say, "Wrong side of the tracks". You shouldn't go to Disney World and think that ALL of Florida is like that, just as you shouldn't make judgements about entire an entire race or gender of people, you shouldn't make judgements about states. (or cities, towns, countries, religions, etc) Others Well Texas has a huge amount of aerospace and high tech companies, if Texas were to become it's own country again the gnp would be very close to the US's with Texas included, most diverse land types in one state and Davey Crockett said "you all can goto hell, I'll goto Texas" I don't fully understand what you mean by "low class". Do you mean poverty or trashy? I don't think that either state you mentioned would be defined as fully poverty level places if that is what you mean. Look at all the rich cattle ranchers, oil farmers, celebrities, good universities, etc...those aren't poor people/families by a long shot. That is not at all true. Both Florida and Texas are very prosperous states with booming populations, lots of history, and strong economies throughout the major cities. Im a Florida Resident and have been raised here my whole life. Orlando is booming with high-end development and upscale areas. In addition, Florida is extremely family-friendly, especially Orlando, not just because of Disney World but the entire area. I dont see what you mean by "low class", you may be mistaken with another state. Checkout these good visitors websites on Florida and Orlando: http://www.visitflorida.com http://www.orlandoinfo.com Come down and explore the Sunshine State! for some reason, when i think of LOW CLASS. i think of minnesota well there are many parts in EVERY state that have "low class" of people. I do not know why you would think that TX and FL as a whole state is "low class" Have you been to either state to make a judgement like that? |
