Need Opinions On Where To Stay For A Disney Vacation In November,Is Disney Property Nice??

Travel Tips
Nice? They are awesome!! I wouldn't recommend ever staying off property. Disney caters to everyone but they especially cater to those staying in their resorts. There are resorts for every kind of budget and are well worth it! Transportation is taken care of so once you arrive you dont have to drive anywhere or pay to park.

Some of my personal favorite resorts are Port Orleans Riverside, Wilderness Lodge, and the Boardwalk.

Try www.allearsnet.com for photos and descriptions of all the resorts. This is also a great website for planning everything for your trip. Source(s): Been there, done that! Disney Freak!

ALL the Disney Resorts are real nice. There is one to fit into any budget: Value Resorts-start at $84 per night, Moderate Resorts- start at $149 per night and Deluxe Resorts that start at $215.

As for my opinions: I have stayed at Pop Century and All-Star Movies Resorts. These are both "Value Resorts" as this is what fits my budget. I have "visited" many of the other resorts...(to see how the other half lives-LOL) I would LOVE to stay at the Grand Floridian! It is so beautiful! And the Polynesian is beautiful, too. The Polynesian is where you go for the Spirit Of Aloho Dinner Show.

Another choice of mine (if I could afford it) would be the Animal Kingdom Lodge and I would request a room with a Savannah view. (You can actually see the animals from the Safari ride right outside your window!)

But for my life, I don't mind the value resorts at all. They are usually a little crowded, but most of Disney World usually is. I have heard some people complain that the rooms are small. Well, there are 2 double beds, a dresser, TV and a table and 2 chairs-also a bathroom, of course. I don't know about most people, but I spend most of my time in the parks, so I only need a place to sleep, and shower!.

I have been to Disney 4 times in the past 3 years and I am going back in September. I absolutely LOVE it. (The money we save on the rooms, we are able to eat at some of the nice restaurants in the other resorts, or enjoy the dinner shows. This year we are going to Hoop-Dee-Doo-Review. Last year we took a tour at Epcot called "Aound the World on a Segway". It was sooo much fun. This year we are taking the Backstage Magic tour! I can't wait.

Have fun on your trip!!!
just got back from a weeks stay & stayed at all star movies disney resort...a value resort. it was nice & clean & had bus service to all the parks. pretty much all we did was sleep when we were there so it was a good choice. the only down side was sometimes having to wait for an additional bus when everyone in line wasn't able to get on..but i guess when you go in june you have to expect it to be busy..and normally another bus showed up within 15 minutes ..and it was still better than driving myself. so if you are on a budget, i would recommend it . check out the walt disney world website for pictures of all resorts. i was able to price the vacation that way.. then went to aaa travel & was able to book it even cheaper.
I am also going to Disney this November. We are staying at the Port Orleans Riverside. It's a moderate Disney resort. A bit more than the value resorts but not as expensive as the deluxe ones(but has the feel as one). I stayed here years ago and fell in love with this resort. The grounds are so beautiful. They have great food and so many different activities. Boating, biking, swimming in seven different pools, etc.... Your transportation is included to all the main parks. They have a gorgeous river running through the main grounds where boats take you to downtown disney in a matter of fifteen minutes. If you like nature and the outdoors you will like it here. Very peaceful and private but only minutes away from all the action. Good luck where ever you stay and have fun.
Disney property is very nice and has many options for places to stay from budget to deluxe resorts. They offer free transportation to all the parks and downtown disney. You're coming at a great time of year. Bring a jacket because the evenings tend to be cooler in November.
