If you stay at a disney resort are you allowed to visit another disney resort with a beach?

Travel Tips
You can visit another resort's beach but are not suppose to and unfortunately the answer given by the "former castmember" is incorrect. At yacht and beach club they provide wrist and/or ankle bracelets to resort guests staying there and DO ask you to leave if you are not a resort guest staying at that particular resort.
The other resorts do not tend to be as strict but ever since 9/11 they do try to keep an eye on people and have been good about asking for ID from time to time to confirm you are staying on property with the hotel/resorts. Source(s): Worked at Disney for many years.
Other Travel Tips
You'll have to pay the entry fee as any other guest. You'll have free transportation anyway! Staying at a Disney resort is great because you have everything in one place and you can shop in a park and your things will be delivered straight to your room and you don't have to carry packages around. Free shuttles are very useful too. But you have to pay entry to all parks, including Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon.
Technically, no. Disney states that the beaches at its resort properties are exclusively for guests of that resort.

In reality, no one will stop you and check your ID or anything. When I was a Disney employee, I frequently went over to the Yacht and Beach club and hung out on the beach there.

Hotels with beaches include the Polynesian, Fort Wilderness, the Wilderness Lodge, the Grand Floridian, and Disney's Yacht and Beach Club.
You are welcome to go visit any resorts to look around. But "using" the resort pool/beach area is limited to the guests staying at that hotel. It entirely depends as to whether you would get caught or not. Some places randomly check, some places don't check unless they get busy. I have heard that if they check, they just ask you to leave and don't really do anything ... unless you refuse, of course!

The exception is if you are a Disney Vacation Club member. They can pool-hop or beach-hop as the case may be. So if you have heard of people doing this, this may have been what you heard.
You can do what is called 'pool hopping' if you are a member of the Disney Vacation Club. You can also pool hop if you know someone who is staying at another resort. The ability to sneak in is part and parcel with your ability to move through the transportation system as provided by Disney, so if you have a hankering to try another resorts pool,, just see what might happen when you go. I was never tagged and I was at the best pools at the Yacht and Beach Club...
