When I go to Florida, should I go to MGM studios? If I should go to MGM, what is good there? Roller coasters?

Travel Info
Should i go to MGM studios? If I do end up deciding to go, why should I and what good rides are there? Are they all roller coasters?

Travel Tips
I think you should go to MGM, it is one of my favorite parks. It has a good combination of thrill rides, slow rides, and fun shows.

The best ride is The Rock'n Roller Coaster. It is an indoor rock and roll themed coaster, focusing on Aerosmith. The coaster looks like you're in a stretch limo and you get blasted off at the beginning which is so fun. There are neon lights everywhere and Aerosmith music playing the whole time. Its crazy!

Another good ride is Tower of Terror. You are sitting in an elevator cart and you go through a little show as you move up the building. Then you reach the top (13 stories high) and the doors open, and you can look out and see all of MGM. Then you drop! It lifts you up and drops you a few times, and you float which is insane. Its so thrilling and scary and fun, and the dropping sequence is different every time so you can ride it over and over again!

There is also a ride called the Great Movie Ride, which is fun if you're a movie person. You go through and feel like you're in scenes from all these classic movies like Wizard of Oz and Casablanca. The Indiana Jones show is awesome, too. There is also a Muppets 3D show which is good if you have kids, and even if you don't! It's cute and really funny. So is the Beauty and the Beast show. There is dancing and music and it is really cute.

Another good ride is called StarTours, especially if you're a Star Wars fan. Its an indoor simulator and you get all shook around and its a lot of fun.

I love MGM, it doesn't have a ton of thrill rides or roller coasters or anything, but the ones they do have are really good. The shows are well-done too. If thats the kind of stuff you enjoy, you should go! Source(s): live in Orlando, been there a million times!
Other Travel Tips
My wife and I just got back from Orlando (we spent our time at Universal Studios (both parks))
Had lots of fun.
If you have kids, try Walt Disney, I hear that is more for the kids, and Universal is more for the older kids / adults.
Enjoy
yea you should go to mgm the best rollercoster there is the arosmith one it rock
No i live in fl and i go to disney every summer. the place with good roller coaster is bush garders, universal studios, or island of adventures.
MGM has 2 main rides: Rock n' Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror. Both are very good. They also have the Stunt Car show which is an awesome show.

Other than that, MGM doesn't have too much else which is exciting.
yes you should go to MGM...it's great. The tower of terror ride is awesome, it has this crazy drop out of nowhere. I've always loved that ride. It has a lot of other cool rides too. There's the rock n' roller coaster which is good and you should do the park hopper b/c then you get to go to Epcot also.
