Best rides at Walt Disney World? |
Travel Info What are the best rides at Disney World....what do you recommend and what restaraunts are good......we are going to the Crystal Palace in Magic Kindgom and Le Originale Alfredo Ristorante in Epcot....what are some really good plates i should order? Travel Tips Well The best ride depends on what kind of rides you like. I would pick expedition everest, Rockin Roller Coaster, tower of Terror, Space Mountain, Thunder mountain & Splash Mountain.. But thats if your into the thrill rides. Also I love the Mickeys Phillhar Magic show... Its awesome I have never been to Crystal Palace but in Le Originale Alfredo Ristorante my absolute favorite is the trio.. Ziti w/ Plum sauce, Lasanga and Black Truffle with a cream sauce, so Yummy! If able to (especially if you are on the dining plan) I would highly recommend Le Cellar (canada in epcot) and Coral Reef.. (the living Seas in Epcot) Hope this helps, Have fun!! Others I quite enjoyed the girl who played snowwhite in the big parade, she was well filthy. Well, first off, I say that you should see every park :-) Magic Kingdom Faves: Thunder Mountain Space Mountain Splash Mountain Haunted Mansion Wishes Nighttime Spectacular Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station Jungle Cruise It's A Small World Walt Disney's Carousel Of Progress EPCOT faves: Mission Space Test Track Soarin' The Living Seas All of the Pavillions! IllumiNations: Reflections Of Earth Coral Reef Restaurant Disney-MGM Studios Faves: Rock 'N' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith The Twilight Zone Tower Of Terror Disney-MGM Studios Backlot Tour Walt Disney: One Man's Dream High School Musical Pep Rally Fantasmic! Animal Kingdom Faves: DINOSAUR Expedition Everest: Legend Of The Forbidden Mountain It's Tough To Be A Bug! Kali River Rapids Kilimanjaro Safaris The Tree Of Life Festival Of The Lion King Rainforest Cafe Also Recommended: DisneyQuest @ Downtown Disney Bongos Cuban Cafe @ Downtown Disney I hope that helped! I hope you have an awesome time! My favorites at the Magic Kingdom are: Splash Mountain Pirates of the Caribbean Tomorrowland Transit Authority (it never has a line!) Carousel of Progress Epcot: Maelstrom (in Norway) Spaceship Earth Soarin' Test Track MGM: Great Movie Ride Backlot Tour Star Tours Beauty and the Beast Animal Kingdom: Festival of the Lion King Kali River Rapids Expedition Everest Kilimanjaro Safaris As for eating, I've never eaten at either of those two places. To see the menus themselves go to allearsnet.com to find them. If you have any spare eating time I highly reccommend: Le Cellier, Narcoosees, and the Brown Derby. All of them are fantastic. My favorite park is Magic Kingdom. My favorite rides there are Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, and Haunted Mansion. And for a change of pace, I really like the Tomorrowland Transit Authority (TTA). Give it a try, there's never a wait! At Epcot, my favorite is Test Track. Haven't done Soarin yet but heard good things. And I love to walk around the World Showcase and explore. At MGM-Disney Studios, I like Tower of Terror and Rock n Roller Coaster. And they are outdated and need to be updated, but I still love Star Tours and Muppet Vision. At Animal Kingdom - ehh, not my favorite park. Haven't done Expedition Everest yet, though. The Safari ride is my fav. Menus: http://allearsnet.com/menu/menus.htm... in case you didn't have this already. I love Alfredo's signature dish, Fettuccine Alfredo, of course! For something different, consider trying 50's Prime Time Cafe and/or the Sci-Fi Dine-In at the Studios. Really great theming! The Crystal Palace is awesome! We usually do the Winnie the Pooh breakfast or lunch - they have a LOT of good food selections on the buffet for both! I sure hope you bought the dining plan option, because it's a GREAT value! Other good table service restaurants are: The Garden Grill in EPCOT, LeCellier in EPCOT, The Polynesian Resort (sorry, just drew a blank on the name of the restaurant - but we had breakfast with Lilo & Stitch there last year and it was wonderful!), the Liberty Tree Tavern at MK, Askerhaus at EPCOT, Hollywood & Vine at MGM, and I hear BOMA at AK lodge is very good. (We're going to try that one out for the first time when we go back in October.) The restaurant at the Coronado Springs Resort has very good food too! In fact, ALL of the food I've ever had at WDW has been very good! We usually book restaurants that have buffets because you get to sample a wider variety of food and you definitely get a better value for the price - especially with the Disney dining option! Rides - well, I love most of them! We usually start at one end of the park and work our way around to all of the rides! Pirates of the Caribbean has added some new things, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Tower of Terror @MGM, Just too many to name. experience |
