LA vs. Orlando? |
Travel Info OK, so I have to decide between Orlando or LA...I have never been to LA, but I hear it's pretty disgusting. I want to visit, but tickets are really $$ right now. Any thoughts? LA is probably going to be more expensive, but better for career options in entertainment. I'm hoping Orlando has some for me to get started with... Travel Tips Wow, people from Orlando and LA arguing over which sucks more, haha. Well I have lived in Orlando for many years.. and I have never been to LA but I do watch the show "24" a lot and from what I can tell by the show LA and Orlando are EXACTLY alike. Constant murders, terrorist attacks, random acts of violence.. is there a third option beside LA or Orlando? Check out http://www.orlandofloridasucks.com... Others orlando its really fun i went last summer from experience I've never been to LA, but if given a choice, I'd pick Orlando -- or more specifically, the Lake Buena Vista area around Disney World and along the I-4 corridor. There are so many hotels and restaurants and retail stores, you could work in a different one every month and never work in the same one twice for at least 10 years. You can vist Orlando for half the price of LA. Well you will have job opertunities in Orlando or LA, Orlando is going to be service jobs, retail, resturants, hotels etc.. and there are some entertainment jobs at Disney and Universal. If you want to be in the entertainment industry you are crazy if you dont move to LA. Orlando is not a greaty town, there is not much to do, it is a suburbia type of place. LA is a real city. Do you want to live in a boring city like Orlando where the weather sucks, Very hot and lots of rain in the summer. And it even gets cold in the winter, 30s and 40s or LA where the weather is great all the time, it is a real world class city and there are ALOT more job opertunities in LA. If you dont have a college degree and if you are not looking for a acting singing job than I dont know what you doing in either city. Anyway go to LA if you want to be in entertainment. You wont get far in Orlando. Also all the people that say Orlando is great when I went last year etc.. Dont listen to them, visiting Orlando and Universal Disney etc.. is a lot different than really going to Orlando and seeing the city. REMBER there are no Beaches in Orlando it will take an hour drive to get to a real Beach. Orlando is a FAKE city, all it has is Two large theme parks. If it was not for the land in South East Florida being to expensive most people would have never even heard of the city Orlando because Disney would not have moved there. Theme Parks should not be a decision maker in where you want to live unless you plan on working at those theme parks. Move to LA much better place than boring Orlando. Florida Resident. |
