Travel Info Has anyone ever stayed in a nice villa or condo in Orlando, Florida near International Drive? (At a good rate) Travel Tips We stayed at Star Island Resort and it was really nice! Others I've stayed here before. It is a beautiful condo that they rent out at all times of the year. I don't know what you would consider a good rate, but, figuring a hotel will cost you $60+ per night x 7 nights = $420, and these condos go for about $525+ (depending on time of the year). Our family of 5 had a great time at the resort. The condo was really nice, clean and fully furnished. It had two baths, a full kitchen with pots, pans, dishes, coffe maker, a living room, dining room, even a washer and dryer in the unit. We usually stay in a hotel and we were quite surprised how big the condo was. It had internet access, a dvd player, TV's, stereo system. The resort had a heated swimming pool, clubhouse, game room, a really nice movie theater, a gym, tennis, much more. We rented the unit directly from the owner and we got a great deal for the week. I have already booked days in January for the same condo and can not wait to go back. We saved a lot of money on our trip and the resort was beautiful.
