Do you have to pay to get in to your hotel in Disney World because it's located in the theme parks? |
Travel Info We are wondering and worrying if we have to pay extra. Travel Tips No you don't have to pay extra. It's on property, even though they are called magic kingdom or epcot hotels, they are really close to those parks, but they aren't inside the parks. You only have to pay to park at the theme parks and to get into the theme parks. no, you dont have to pay "admission" to get to your hotel, you might have to pay for parking at your hotel tho, or walk a million miles to "self park". There are buses and monorails that can take you from your hotel to the parks, and as a bonus you can get into the parks early and stay later on certain days at certain parks.! My mom is staying at a hotel in Disney World .. like in downtown disney I guess. She said she will have a pass to get to her hotel. I asked her was the hotel inside the disney park and she said yes and could probably sneak us in by riding her car... it doesnt make sense to me but oh well thats what she said. But n e way she 's gonna have a pass to get to her hotel showing that her hotel is inside the park so she wont have to pay everytime. If you are referring to the hotels by Magic Kingdom ( the contemporary, the Grand Floridian, the Wilderness, etc...) No, you do not need to pay to get to your hotel. At the entrance to Magic Kingdom , You need to go to the far right lane. ( It will say to resorts). The people in the booth can direct you to the right street to get to your resort. Once you check in you will get a parking pass. The cool thing about the pass is it will allow you to park for free at the parks. It makes sense to drive to Animal Kingdom and MGM studios. If you want to go to Epcot or Magic Kingdom use the Disney transportation. Both these parking lots are large and it can take awhile just ot get to the entrance of the park. Disney transportation takes you right up to the entrance. Also take advantage of the "magic hours". Each day a Disney park is open an hour early for Disney resort guests.
