Orlando Natives: How many times have you? |
Travel Info gone to Disney, or busch gardens, or Universal, or any other huge theme park that most people in the world ache to go to? I ask b/c I've been to Disney way too many times to count on both hands, Busch Gardens 5 times in the past month or so, and i work at Universal Studios (IOA) so I've been there so many times I get tired of it. And all these, I've never dished out a dime for them. (due to connections and so forth). So I'm curious. Do you have similar experiences? thanks! Travel Tips You are absolutely right - it does get real old, real quick! What most people in the world seem to aspire to is very commonplace to us. Other Travel Tips It becomes old after a while. We go maybe twice a year. Same ole, same ole unless they have events or something else interesting going on. I don't live in Orlando and I've gone to all the parks so many times, I've lost count. I go to Orlando several times a year just for fun and several times a year on business. Probably, on a normal year, 10 to 12, at the very least. I can see how it would get old after a while, especially if you lived there and could go any time. But, I still end up having a good time when I go. I always take some family or friends and have a blast. So, I guess it has a lot to do with who you go with. I'm not sure if I would want to live in Orlando, I don't think it would be as much fun then. But, I still love visiting. I used to go to Disney every week on one of my days off... but when I had done every ride, show, and restaurant it got old. I haven't been to Universal or Seaworld many times because it's just not as fun. http://www.orlandofloridasucks.com... What's your point? I have lived in Orlando 14 years and I used to work for Disney, so it does get old after time. If I'm going to go, it will be to see something new, like when a new ride opens. |
