Travel Info Why do some people say that Interstate 4 (I-4) in Orlando is the divider for East and West Colonial (SR-50) ?? Travel Tips The divider for East-West addresses is Orange Avenue. But I-4 is only 1 or 2 blocks to the west, so it makes little difference. But if the address is West of Orange Avenue and East of I-4, it is still West Colonial Drive. Others Because if you look at the map then you will see that it cuts the state in half... It almost runs down the middle of the city of Orlando but the real middle is Orange Avenue. It splits the city in half. On either side of it the address number climb upward as you go away from it. Because they're mistaken. Orange Avenue divides East Colonial and West Colonial. |
