Travel Tips As far a good inexpensive hotels go most of those are on 192 or Irlo Bronson Highway which is found just south of Disney. You can take the #42 Lynx bus which is found on the lowest level at the Orlando International Airport to the Florida mall and there you transfer to the #4 bus going to Kissimmee. If you take the #4 bus to the end of the line you can then transfer to the #55 or #56 buses the both run down 192 from them you can pick which hotel looks interesting to you. Later the # 56 bus will take you to Disney. Others There are some hotels ON Disney that are not actual Disney Resorts. I don't know the names of all of them but i know there is a Holiday Inn and I THINK a Hilton. I got to Disney every year [vacation club member] Try your search for your hotels near Disney World is at "YTB Travel - Amazing Tours and Travel" www.amazingtoursandtravel.com on the site click on "book travel" to get to travel site. Each hotel listing has a rating and reviews of previous guests of the hotels. This will also give you a great opportunity to compare. Brittany mentioned the Hilton, but please know that this is sort of a time share Hilton. You have to prepay for one night's stay at the time of your reservation. This wasn't listed on the website when we reserved our room and the money was taken out of our bank account. We cancelled our reservations due to this and got a room at another hotel. One place we do like to stay at is Embassy Suites. There are a few in the Disney area and aren't as expensive as you'd think. Another more affordable place is the Comfort Suites on 192. That's the road where all the street lights are purple. We recently stayed there for $75.00 a night, military rate. You get a free breakfast daily, newspaper and the pool is open 24 hours. There is a shuttle to the parks if you choose to use it. |
