I was driving next to a yellow cab two days ago and it was $2.00 first 1/8 mile and 25 cents every 1/8 mile. Do a distance search on mapquest to see how many miles it is. If you are on the north end of I-drive you are a lot closer. If you are on the very far south end beyond Sea World, then you are pretty far, about 8 miles or more. Just to give you an idea on distances, if you are close to Wet N Wild, it would be around 3.24 miles. The mall's address is 4200 Conroy Road. And to clarify, Mall at Millenia is not in North Orlando, it's pretty south of Downtown. Others Knowing the traffic there, you would be cheaper getting public transport i.e. bus service. Knowing the traffic it might be faster to WALK. I-Drive is about 2 miles from I-4 on the far south end of town, and the Mall at Millenia is in north Orlando so it could get pricy. Even though it is just off I-4 also. Try showing your boobs to a truck driver. It's about a 20-30 minutes drive so quite expensive I would have thought. Check that your hotel don't offer coach transfers as they do to many shopping centres. To be honest Mall of Millennia and Florida Mall has much the same shops - abercrombie, gap etc etc it's just that Mall Millenia has some of the up market shops like chanel, tiffany's etc but the mere mortal don't usually spend in there as they ain't cheap, even with the exchange rate. If you're looking for designer things cheap go to Designer outlets near Seaworld at the other end of I Drive as they have a discount Dior, Fendi, Ralph Lauren etc etc and they genuinely are a lot cheaper. Why not roller blade instead. :~) |
