Romantic Restaurant in the 4 Disney parks? |
Travel Info Wha woudl you say is the most romantic restaurant in all of the four Disney parks for a couple in there early 20s who have never taken a vacation just the two of them? The girl is a very girly girl (she loves pink, tiara's and loves the Disney pricesses and anything romantic) the guy is a self described geek (tall, skinny, with glasses) who loves Star Wars. Travel Tips I'm going to agree with Cinderella's Castle for a girlie-girl. They will call her princess (and you prince) throughout your meal. However, there is no alcohol served in MK. So if you are looking for a glass of wine - look elsewhere. The California Grill is on the top floor of the Contemporary Hotel next to the MK. The menu is fabulous and the food is outstanding. If you time it right - you will be able to see the fireworks over the Castle during your meal (check the website for days/times of fireworks during your stay). France in EPCOT is fantastic as well but, no princesses sorry! If you go the Rose and Crown in EPCOT you can ask to sit outside and time it so that you are sitting there for the 9pm fireworks over the lagoon. At the Grand Floridian, Citricos is a great place. You can walk around the hotel grounds and most likely will see a wedding taking place....Cinderella carriage and all! Lastly, if she really wants to see the the Princesses...take her to the Norway (EPCOT) Character meal. The food is not so great but she can have her picture taken with all of the princesses during the meal. Feel free to email with any other questions.... Others Well....Cinderella's Castle for the girl then, but it's booked WELL in advance, so you better call a.s.a.p.!! I hear Victoria & Alberts is really nice too. There are SEVERAL romantic dining options at WDW....it's not just for little kids! Check out the website www.disneyworld.disney.go.com/... I love the restaurant in Mexico at Epcot. It is always evening there with low light.. It has a great atmosphere. Plus, I LOVE Mexican food!! Most of the nicer resturants are in the high end hotels, but you can make reservations there without staying in the hotels. Go to Disneyworld.com and do a search for fine dining, you will access resturants, types of foods and budgetting information. I would say that the EPCOT is your best bet. I personally like the Coral Reef for a romantic feel and Mexico second. Baecause most people want to eat in the countires, most of the countries sit you so close to the table next to you that you do not feel alone. I also like the California Grill at the Contemporary. You can take a monorail from Magic Kingdom to the hotel. |
